RESOLUTION NO. 5 yD3
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH ADOPTING CERTAIN AMENDMENTS. TO
THE MASTER LAND -USE PLAN (AMENDMENT -NO. 9)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission and the City Council
have heretofore adopted a Master Plan of the City of Newport Beach,
which said Master Plan includes as a unit thereof a Plaster Land Use
Plan, adopted by the City Council on January 13, 1958; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Newport
Beach has recommended the adoption of certain amendments to the
Master Land Use Plan; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, after notice as required by
law, has held a public hearing on said proposed amendments; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is
desirable to amend said Master Land Use Plan as recommended;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach does adopt said amendments to the Master
Land Use Plan as shown on Drawing No. L -1121 entitled "Master Land
Use Plan Amendment No. 90g, dated January 7, 1964, which is attached
hereto, marked Exhibit 'W', and incorporated herein by reference.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Planning Director is
authorized and directed to endorse the Master Land Use Plan map to
show that Amendment No. 9 has been adopted by the City Council, and
that the same be placed on file with the Master Plan of the City of
Newport Beach.
