3 OF iM COUNTY OF ORANGE TO PEMXIT .THE COUNTY CLERK OF SAID COUNTY TO RENDER SPECIFIED SERVICES TO THE
4 CITY OF NEWPORT.BF.ACH.RELATING TO THE CONDUCT OF .A
GENERAL YIUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD IN SAID CITY
5 ON APRIL 14, 1964

7 WHEREAS, a general municipal election is to be held in
8 the City of Newport Beach on April 14, 1964; and
9 AREAS, in the course of conduct of said election and
10 in relation thereto it will be necessary to mail sample ballots
11 and polling place cards to the registered voters of the City, and
12 it will facilitate such mailing if the County Clerk of the County
13 of Orange will prepare and furnish the City the imprinting of the
14 names and addresses of the registered voters of said City on
15 envelopes furnished by the City; and
16 WHEREAS, all necessary expense in performing this service
17 shall be paid by the City of Newport Beach;
18 NCW, TIEP.F,FORE, the City Council of the City of Newport
19 Beach does hereby RESOLVE., DETERNINP AND ORDER, as follows:
20 SECTION 1. That pursuant to the provisions of Section
21 22003 of the Elections Code of the State of California, this City
22 Council hereby requests the Board of Supervisors of said County to
23 permit the County Clerk to prepare and furnish to said City, for
24 use in conducting said election to be held on April 14, 1964, the
25 imprinting of the names and addresses of the registered voters of
26 said City, on envelopes furnished by the City.
27 SECTION 2. That said City shall reimburse said County
28 for services performed when the work is completed and upon presen-
29 tation to the City of a properly approved bill.
30 SECTION 3. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to
31 forward without delay to said Board of Supervisors and to said
