RESOLUTION NO. 6096
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH ACCEPTING A GRANT OF-EASEMENT
WHEREAS, The Irvine Company has executed and delivered to
the City of Newport Beach a Grant of Easement dated December 11,
1964, granting to the City a nonexclusive easement for road
Iii purposes for ingress and egress over the following described real
8 property in the County of Orange, State of California:
9 A strip of land, 60.00 feet in width in blocks
93 and 96 of Irvine's Subdivision as per map
10 recorded in book 1, page 88 of Miscellaneous
Record Maps in the office of the county recorder
11 of said county, the northerly - northeasterly line
of which is described as follows:

Beginning at the intersection of the northerly -
13 northeasterly right of way line of Pacific view
Drive, a private road 60.00 feet wide, with the
14 northwesterly right of way line of that certain
Metropolitan Water District easement, 20 feet
15 wide, as described in book 2402, page 469 of
Official Records, as said intersection is shown
16 on a map filed in book 63, page 45 of Record of
Surveys; thence along said northerly - northeasterly
17 right of way line South 71° 04' 01P0 East 89.95 feet
to the beginning of a curve concave southwesterly -
18 having a radius of 606.00 feet; thence southeast-
erly 550.79 feet along said curve through an angle
19 of 52° 04' 35 "; thence South 180 59' 26" East
118,92 feet to the beginning of a curve concave
20 northeasterly having a radius of 382.98 feet,
thence southeasterly 169.36 feet along said
21 curve through an angle.of 25° 20' 1380 to the
beginning of a compound curve concave northeast -
22 erly having a radius of 214.96 feet; thence
southeasterly 116,31 feet along said curve througgh
23 an angle of 31° 00' 03 "; thence South 750 19' 4288
East 86.55 feet to the.southwesterly corner of
24 that certain "Reservoir Site" as described in a
deed to the City of Newport Beach recorded December
25 20, 1957 in book 4143, page 395 of Official- Records.
26 The southerly line of said strip of land to be
extended westerly to intersect with said north-
27 westerly right of way line of said Metropolitan
Water District easement.

SUBJECT To easements, rights of way and other
29 matters of record.
310 RESERVING UNTO GRANTOR, its successors and assigns:
31 (1) The right to construct, install, replace, main-
tain, operate and use, over, under, across and along
32 said road easement streets and roads; polelines,

11 pipelines and other facilities for the transmission
of oil, water, sewage, electricity and telephone;
21 and for other purposes not inconsistent with the
I , use of said easement by Grantee;

(2) The right to the joint use of said road easement,
41 or any part thereof, for road purposes;
51 (3) The right to dedicate said easement, or any
portion thereof, for public road purposes; upon any
6 such dedication this easement shall automatically
terminate without notice to Grantee;

91 wHEREAS, it is to the interest of the City to accept said
10 Grant of Easement for such purposes;
11 NOWO THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said Grant of Ease -
12 ment is hereby accepted and the City Clerk is authorized and directe
13 to execute and attach thereto a certificate of acceptance and consen
14 to its recording and to record said document in the County Recorder'
