1 RESOLUTION N0. 6100
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
3 AMENDMENT TO .POINT AGREEMENT FOR THE OPERATION
OF TELETYPEWRITER SERVICE
5 WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach is a party to a Joint
6 Agreement for the Operation of Teletypewriter Service between the
7 County of Orange and various cities located within said County which
811 became effective January 1, 1956; and
9 WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council of
10 the City of Newport Beach an amendment to said agreement providing
11 for an additional broadcast teletype system which has become neces-
12 sary because of the increased load on the existing system; and
13 WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the terms and
14 conditions of said amendment and found them to be reasonable and
15 equitable;
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Amendment to Joint
17 Agreement for the Operation of Teletypewriter Service be approved
18 and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to
19 execute the same on behalf of the City of Newport Beach.

Beach, California, at a regular meeting of said City Council held at the
