2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NE€7PORT BEACH AH)ARIDING A CONTRACT FOR MISCELIANEOUS
3 WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT 1964+ -65

5 WHEREAS, pursuant to the Notice Inviting Bids for work
6 consisting of Miscellaneous Water Main Replacement 1965 ®65 in the
7) City of Newport Beach, in accordance with the plans and specifics-
81 tions heretofore adopted, bids were received on the 6th day of
9 January, 1965, and publicly opened and declared; and
10 WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
11 therefor is Cabildo Corporation;
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of Cabildo
13 Corporation in the amount of $107,883.76 be accepted and that the
14 contract for the construction work be awarded to said bidder.
15 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are
16 hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in accordance
17 with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf of the City
18 of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed to furnish
19 an executed copy to the successful bidder.
