RESOLUTION NO. 6111

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUCTION

OF THE STEEL BUILDING ADDITION AT THE CITY CORPORA-
TION YARD (REVISED CONTRACT)

t >I[IEREAS, pursuant to the Notice Inviting Bids for Work
6
consisting of the construction of the steel building addition at
7
the City Corporation Yard (Revised Contract), in the City of
8
Newport Beach, in accordance with the plans and specifications
9
heretofore adopted, bids were received on the 17th day of February,
10
1965, and publicly opened and declared; and
11
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
12
therefor is the Dudley Steel Corporation;
13
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of the Dudley
14
Steel Corporation in the amount of $3,525 be accepted and that the
15
contract for the construction work be awarded to said bidder.
16
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are
17
hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in accordance
18
with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf of the City
19
of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed to furnish
20
an executed copy to the successful bidder,
21
ADOPTED this 23rd day of February, 1965.
