NEWPORT BEACH ANTARIDING A CONTRACT FOR THE STREET
IIPROV MIEFT, UIRLSTCLIFF =DOVER INTERSECTION, STIi
AVENUE: MONA LARNtSPUR AVENUE TO POPPY AVENUE
(COMPACT NO. 954)
IFIE ? S, pursuant to the notice inviting bids for work
consisting of the street improvement, Westcliff °IDover Intersection,
5th Avenue from Larkspur Avenue to Poppy Avenue in-the City of New-
port Beach, in accordance with the plans and specifications hereto-
fore adopted, bids were received on the 19th day of January, 1966,
and publicly opened and declared; and
ME11EA5, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
therefor is E. L. White Company;
NOW, T:1'*RE,FORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of E. L.
IWhite Company in the amount of $65,300.81 be accepted and that the
contract for the construction work be awarded to said bidder.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Vayor and City Clerk are
hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in accordance
with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf of the City
of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed to furnish
an executed copy to the successful bidder.
