• 5 VR EREAS, a feaster agreement has been executed by the
6 City of Newport Beach, hereinafter referred to as the City, and
7 the State Department of public !Torks, Division of Highways, herein -,
8 after referred to as the Department, on March 27, 1961, for
9 expenditure of State - allocated funds; and
10 IMMEAS, by Plesolut pion No. 6210 a budget proposal show -
11 ing estimated expenditures of such funds recommended to be made
12 during the 1965 -65 fiscal year was adopted in August, 1965, which
13 it is now necessary to supplement; and
14 T�P[MUAS, a supplemental project statement showing esti-
15 seated additional expenditures of such funds to be made during ¢he
16 1965 -66 fiscal year uas adopted by Resolution No. 6272 of the City
17 Council on December 27, 1965, and submitted to the Department; and
18 MMMEAS, a first amended budget approved by the Department
19 vn January 17, 1966, has been presented to the City Council in
20 accordance with the supplemental project statement su ,Dmitted by the
21 City; and
22 L•T EAS, =.e City Council has considered said first
23 amended budget, as approved by the Department, and is familiar wits
24 the contents thereof;

26 said first amended budget be and is hereby adopted as the 'budget
27 of expenditures reco=iiended to be made from suck funds during the
28 1965.-66 fiscal year.
