RESOLUTION N0, 6'507
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR. THE -CON-
STRUCTION OF.STEEL.BUILDING ADDITION AND PAVING
AT THE..CITY.CORPORATION.YARD (CONTRACT NO. 1068)
WHEREAS, pursuant to the notice inviting bids for work
consisting of the construction of steel building addition and
paving at the City Corporation Yard in the City of Newport Beach,
in accordance with the plans and specifications heretofore adopted,
bids were received on the 12th day of January, 1967, and publicly
opened and declared; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
therefor is C. S. Boyd Co., General Contractors;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of C. S. Boyd
Co., General Contractors, in the amount of $14,278 be accepted and
that the contract for the construction work be awarded to said
bidder.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are
hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in accordance
with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf of the City
of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed to furnish
an executed copy to the successful bidder.
ADOPTED this 23rd day of January, 1967.
