A RESOLUTICN OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH ACCEPTING A GRANT..OF_EASEMENT

WHEREAS, The Irvine Company, a West Virginia corpor-
to5
ation, has executed and delivered to the City of Newport Beach a
6
Grant of Easement, which grants to the City an easement for street,
7
and highway purposes over all that certain land situated in the
8
City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California,
9
described as follows:

Parcel 1

A strip of land, 128.00 feet in width, in Blocks 93 and
96 of Irvine's Subdivision as per map recorded in Book
12
1, page 88 of Miscellaneous Record Maps in the office of
the County Recorder of said County, the center line of
13
said,strip being described as follows:

Beginning at the intersection of the center line of Mar-
guerite Avenue, 84.00 feet wide, with the Northerly line
15
of Tract No. 6228 as per map recorded in Book 229, pages
25 to 32 inclusive, of Miscellaneous Maps, said Northerly
16
line being a curve concave Northeasterly having a radius
of 2264.00 feet, a radial to said intersection bears
17
South 120 29' 3642 West; thence Easterly 66.49 feet along
said curve and said Northerly line through an angle of
18
1° 40' 5890 to an angle point in the boundary of said
tract, a radial to said point bears South 10° 48' 38"

West; thence leaving said boundary North 100 48' 38'2 East
64.00 feet along said radial to a point on a non - tangent

curve concave Northeasterly having a radius of 2200.00

feet, said curve being concentric with said 2264.00 foot
radius curve, said point being also the TRUE POINT OF

BEGINNING; thence Northwesterly 2288.34. eet.along said
curve through an angle of 590 35' 47" to a point herein-

after referred to as Point "A", a radial to said point

bears South 70° 24' 25" West.

Those portions of Block 93 of Irvine's Subdivision as per

map recorded in Book 1, page 88 of Miscellaneous Record
Maps in the office of the County Recorder of Said County
described as follows:

Beginning at said Point "A" as described in Parcel 1 above;

thence South 70° 24' 25"9 West 64.00 feet along said radial
as described in Parcel 1 above; thence North 200 39' 5270

West 427.89 feet; thence North 700 24' 25" East 72.00 feet
to a point hereinafter referred to as Point "B "; thence

continuing North 70° 24' 2592 East 72.00 feet,..thence South

A strip of land, 144.00 feet in width, the centerline of
said strip being described as follows:
Beginning at said Point "B7B as described in Parcel 2 above,
said point being the beginning of a curve concave South -
westerly having a radius of 4000.00 feet, a radial to said
point bears North 70° 24' 25" East; thence Northwesterly
903.96 feet along said curve through an angle of 12° 56'
54" to a point on the center line of MacArthur Boulevard,
100.00 feet wide, as described in the deed to the State
of California recorded in Book 1047, page 557 of Official
Records, said point being South 51° 56' 31" West 9.86 feet
from the center line intersection of said MacArthur Boule-
vard with Pacific View Drive, as shown on the.map filed in
Book 63, page 45 of Record of Surveys.
EXCEPT that portion lying within tdi'd MacArthur Boulevard.
The intersection of the side lines of said 144.00 foot
strip of land with the Southeasterly right of way line
of said MacArthur Boulevard to be rounded with a 25.00
foot radius tangent curve.
SUBJECT TO easements and rights of way of record or apparent;
&MRREAAS, it is to the interest of the City to accept
said Grant of Easement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said Grant of Ease-
went is hereby accepted and the City Clerk is authorized and dir-
ected to execute and attach thereto a certificate of acceptance
and consent to its recording and to record said document in the
County Recorder's office.
ADOPTED this 27th day of February , 1967.

City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of said City Council
held at the regular meeting place thereof, on the 27th day of February 1967,
by the following vote, to wit:
