• <br />�tec <br />3/ 57 (12) <br />r <br />1 RESOLUTION NO. 6531 <br />2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A <br />3 GRANT OF EASEMENT TO.SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON <br />COMPANY FOR ELECTRICAL FACILITIES <br />4 <br />5 1MEREAS, the City of Newport Beach is the owner of <br />6 certain property southerly of Industrial iday between Superior Avenue <br />7 and Newport Boulevard, commonly known as the City Corporation Yard; <br />8 . and <br />9 TN1EREAS, it is necessary for the Southern California <br />10 Edison Company to have an easement over a portion of said property <br />11 for electrical facilities to serve certain buildings located thereof <br />12 and <br />13 L , there has been presented to the City Council of <br />14 the City of Newport Beach a Grant of Easement by which the City <br />15 would grant to Southern California Edison Company, a corporation, <br />16 its successors and assigns, an easement and right of way to con- <br />17 struct, lay, install, use, maintain, alter, add to, repair, replace <br />18 inspect and /or remove, at any time and from time to time, aerial <br />19 and underground electric lines and communication lines, consisting <br />20 of poles, guys and anchors, crossarms, wires, cables, conduits, <br />21 manholes, vaults, pull boxes, markers and other fixtures and appli- <br />22 ances, for conveying electric energy to be used for light, heat, <br />23 power, telephone and /or other related uses, in, on, over, under and <br />24 through that certain real property in the City of Newport Beach, <br />25 County of Orange, State of California, described as follows: <br />26, A strip of land, 12 feet in width, lying within Lot 169 in <br />Block 2, of Irvinets Subdivision, as per map recorded in <br />27 Book 1, page.88, of Miscellaneous Naps, in the office of <br />the Recorder of said County, the centerline being described <br />28 as follows: <br />29 Beginning at a point in the southeasterly line of <br />Superior Avenue, as now established, said point being <br />30 75 feet northeasterly, measured along said southeast® <br />erly line, from the northeasterly line of the land <br />31 described in the deed to Hughes Aircraft Company, <br />recorded April 8, 1966, as Document No. 5273, in Book <br />32 7894, page 763, of Official Records,in the office of <br />
