RESOLUTION NO. 6565
21 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ADOPTING AND SUBMITTING .A BUDGET
3 FOR EXPENDITURE.OF_STATE ALLOdATED.(ENGINEERING)
FUNDS_

5; WHEREAS, a master agreement for the budgeting and
6 expenditure of the engineering allocation under Section 2107,5
71 of the Streets and Highways Code has been entered into by the
8 City of Newport Beach, hereinafter referred to as the city, and
9 the State Department of Public Works, Division of Highways, here -
10 inafter referred to as the department; and
11(11 WH[EREAS, the City Council has prepared a budget pro -
12 posal showing estimated expenditures of such funds recommended
13 to be made during the 1967 -68 fiscal year; and
14 WHEREAS, the City Council has heard read said budget
15 proposal and is familiar with the contents thereof;
16 NOW, THEUi FORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
17 the City of Newport Beach that said budget proposal dated April
181 24, 1967 be and is hereby adopted as the budget of proposed
1911 expenditures of the State allocated funds for engineering to
20 cities, said budget proposal to be and the same is hereby approved
21 and the Public Works Director is directed to sign the same on
22 behalf of said City, and said budget proposal to be submitted to
23 the Department of Public Works, State of California, in accordance
24 with the provisions of Section 197 of the Streets and Highways
251 Code.

filed and maintained in my office, the foregoing Resolution No. 6565 was
duly and regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of said City Council
held at the regular meeting place thereof, on the 22nd day of Mav 1967,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Rogers, Parsons, Marshall, Gruber, Cook,
Forgit, Shelton
