TMREAS, pursuant to the notice inviting bids for work

consisting of the improvement of Jamboree Road from Ford Road to
7
Palisades Road, in the City of Newport Beach, in accordance with

the plans and specifications heretofore adopted, bids were
9
received on the 19th day of September, 1967, and publicly opened
10
and declared; and

TMEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
12i
therefor is Griffith Company;
13
NCW, TMPREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of Griffith..
14
Company for the work in the amount of $413,643.50 be accepted and
15
that the contract for the construction work be awarded to said
16
bidder.

BE IT FURTIM RESOLVED that the Vayor and City Clerk
18
� are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in
19
accordance with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf
20
of the City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed
21
to furnish an executed copy to the successful bidder.

ADOPTED this 9th day of October 1967.
