RESOLUTION NO, 6706
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE.RECON-
STRUCTION OF.BULKHEAD AND GROIN AT - "N" STREET
BEACH (CONTRACT NO. 1148)
pursuant to the notice inviting bids for work
consisting of the reconstruction of bulkhead and groin at 'N"
Street Beach in the City of Newport Beach, in accordance with,the
plans and specifications heretofore adopted, bids were received on
the 19th day of February, 1968, and publicly opened and declared;
and
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
therefor is Trautwein Brothers;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of Trautwein
Brothers in the amount of $15,560 be accepted and that the contract
for the construction work be awarded to said bidder,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in
accordance with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf
of the City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed
to furnish an executed copy to the successful bidder.
ADOPTED this 26th day of February, 1968.

do hereby certify that according to the records of the City of Newport Beach
filed and maintained in my office, the foregoing Resolution No, 6706 was
duly and regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of said City Council
held at the regular meeting place thereof, on the 26th day of February 1968,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Rogers, Parsons, Gruber, Cook, Forgit, Shelton
