211 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH.FIXING THE _SALARY.OF.THE
311 CITY ATTORNEY.

51 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
6 has the power and duty to fix the salary of the City Attorney and
71 to designate the time to be devoted to the duties of the office
8 in the resolution fixing the compensation; and
91 WHEREAS, Resolution No. 6373 established the salary of
10l the City Attorney beginning July 2, 1966, and the time to be
11 devoted to the duties of the office;
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that effective retro-
13 actively to January 1, 1968, Resolution No. 6373 be rescinded and
14 that the salary of the City Attorney beginning January 1, 1968
15 shall be $19,500 per fiscal year for full -time employment, payable
16 in monthly, semimonthly, or biweekly installments as is most con -
17 venient in the ordinary course of the preparation of the City's
18 payroll.

duly and regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of said City Council
held at the regular meeting place thereof, on the 26th day of February 1968,
by the following vote, to wit:
