A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF
• AN AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AND EASTBLUFF- NEWPORT, INC.,
SUBDIVIDER, FOR THE FUTURE IMPROVEI -ENT OF A
PORTION OF SAN JOAQUIN HILLS ROAD ADJACENT TO
TRACT 6152
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach an amendment to the agreement
between the City of Newport Beach and Eastbluff- Newport, Inc.,
Subdivider, for the grading of a portion of San Joaquin Hills
Road adjacent to Tract 6152; and
WHEREAS, said amendment provides for an extension of
time within which to complete the said grading project, and it
has been determined that it would be in the mutual interests of
the parties to agree to said extension of time; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the terms and
conditions of said amendment to agreement and found them to be
fair and equitable;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said amendment
above described is approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are
hereby authorized and directed to execute the same on behalf of
the City of Newport Beach.
ADOPTED this 26th day of January, 1970.
