A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH CORRECTING CERTAIN ERRORS IN THE
LEGAL DESCRIPTION CONTAINED IN.RESOLUTION NO.
7112 RELATING TO ANNEXATION NO. 69, PACIFIC
VIEW MEMORIAL PARK, PHASE 1
WHEREAS, on the 26th day of November, 1969, the Local
Agency Formation Commission of Orange County approved Annexation
No. 69 (Pacific View Memorial Park, Phase 1 Annexation), annexing
certain unincorporated territory to the City of Newport Beach; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
did adopt Resolution No. 7112 dated December 15, 1969, approving
said annexation; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 7112 contained a technical
error in the legal description of the territory to be annexed;
follows:
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council HEREBY RESOLVES as
1. Resolution No. 7112 dated December 15, 1969, is
hereby amended by substituting the following boundary,description
for the description contained in said resolution:
Beginning at an angle point in the existing boundary
of the City of Newport Beach as established by Annexation
No. 57, November 17, 1965, per Resolution No. 6247, said
point being the northeasterly terminus of that certain
course having a bearing of South 400 23' 52" West and a
distance of 281.50 feet; thence along said boundary South
40° 23' 52" West 281.50 feet; thence North 84° 40' 58" West
729.27 feet; thence North 41° 38' 18" West 565.00 feet;
thence North 48° 12' 42" East 72.11 feet to an angle point
in said boundary established by the Big Canyon Reservoir
Annexation, December 17, 1958; thence North 48° 21' 42"

East thereon 450.69 feet; thence leaving said existing
boundary South 55° 06° 50" East 1088.95 feet to the
point of beginning.
2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to file with the
Secretary of State a certified copy of this amendment to
Resolution No. 7112.
ADOPTED this 9th day of February, 1970.
