A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
w OF NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR
PACIFIC COAST.HIGHWAY WIDENING AT JAMBOREE
ROAD, CONTRACT NO. C °1105
WHEREAS, pursuant to the notice inviting bids for work
in connection with the widening of Pacific Coast Highway at
Jamboree Road, in accordance with the plans and specifications
heretofore adopted, bids were received on the 17th day of
February, 1970, and publicly opened and declared; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
therefor is PATCO CONSTRUCTION COMPANY;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the bid of PATCO CONSTRUCTION COMPANY
for the work in the amount of $18,500.50 be accepted, and that the
contract for the described work be awarded to said bidder;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are
hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in accordance
with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf of the City
of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed to furnish
an executed copy to the successful bidder.
