HomeMy WebLinkAbout7351 - Master Plan for Civic Center Site in Newport CenterRESOLUTION NO. 7 35 1 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH ADOPTING A MASTER PLAN FOR • THE CIVIC CENTER SITE IN NEWPORT CENTER • WHEREAS, on July 14, 1969, the City of Newport Beach entered into a contract with Welton Becket & Associates for architectural and engineering services for the Newport Beach Civic Center project, including the preparation of a revised master plan of development; and WHEREAS, said revised master plan has been submitted to the City Council and has been recommended for approval by the City Council Building Committee; and WHEREAS, after reviewing the revised master plan it is the desire of the City Council to adopt said plan; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Newport Beach that the "City of Newport Beach Civic Center Revised Master Plan ", prepared by Welton Becket & Associates, Architects - Engineers, last revised on January 7, 1971, is hereby adopted; a copy of said revised master plan, designated Exhibit "A ", is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, together with a document consisting of two pages, entitled "Newport Beach Civic Center Revised Master Plan Description ", dated January 7, 1971, prepared by Welton Becket & Associates, and designated Exhibit "B ". ADOPTED this 11th day of January, 1971.
