A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A
QUITCLAIM DEED TO THE IRVINE INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX
RE ACCESS EASEMENT ACROSS LOT 5, TRACT NO. 6680
WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach has been requested
to execute a quitclaim deed for a 20 -foot access easement across
Lot 5 which was reserved on the recorded map for Tract No, 6680
and not accepted by the City at the time the final map was
approved; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the City has no
present or prospective need for the said access easement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the Mayor and the City Clerk be
and are hereby authorized and directed to execute a quitclaim
deed releasing to The Irvine Industrial Complex any interest the
City may have in the 20 -foot access easement across Lot 5 reserved
on the recorded map for Tract No. 6680, legally described as:
That portion of Lot 5, Tract 6680, delineated as "20'
easement reserved for access to Lots 5, 6 and 7" as
shown on a map of said tract filed in Book 260, pages
1, 2 and 3 of Miscellaneous Maps in the office of the
County Recorder of said County.
ADOPTED this 25th day of January, 1971.
