A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
• OF NEWPORT BEACH APPROVING THE ASSESSMENT AND
DIAGRAM MADE AND FILED BY THE.SUPERINTENDENT
OF STREETS OF SAID CITY ON THE 19TH DAY OF
FEBRUARY, 1971, TO COVER THE SUMS DUE FOR THE
WORK AND IMPROVEMENT CONSISTING OF CERTAIN
STREET IMPROVEMENTS IN "ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
NO. 52" AS CONTEMPLATED BY RESOLUTION OF
INTENTION NO. 7197 OF SAID CITY: AND ORDERING
THE SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS TO ATTACH A
WARRANT TO SAID ASSESSMENT
WHEREAS, the Superintendent of Streets of the City of
Newport Beach did on the 19th day of February, 1971, file with the
City Clerk of said..City his assessment and diagram to cover the
sums due for the work of construction of certain street improve-
ments and appurtenant work in "Assessment District No. 52" in
said City, as said work is described in Resolution of Intention
No. 7197; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk of said City gave notice in the
manner required by law of said assessment and that Monday, the
22nd day of March, 1971, all persons interested in the work done or
in the assessment would be heard by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has now considered said
assessment and diagram as filed;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach DOES HEREBY DETERMINE, ORDER AND RESOLVE As follows:
SECTION 1. That the said assessment and diagram be and
the same is hereby approved;
SECTION 2. That this City Council does hereby find and
determine that the amounts so fixed herein as the amount of
assessment is the proportionate benefit received by the said lot
of land as to which said assessment is affixed;
SECTION 3. That the Superintendent of Streets shall
forthwith attach a warrant to said assessment bearing the date of

this order of the City Council;
• SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to this
resolution and a certified copy thereof shall be attached to the
assessment.
ADOPTED this 22nd day of March, 1971.
