A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF
NOTICE OF COVENANTS, CONDITIONS AND RESTRICTIONS
• IN CONNECTION WITH TRACT NO. 7083
• WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach by The Irvine Company, a West Virginia
corporation, as owner and subdivider of Tract No. 7083, a document
entitled_ "Notice of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions, Orange
County, California," whereby conveyance of said Tract No. 7083
shall be subject to the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and
Restrictions imposed upon Tract No. 7082 and recorded on August 31,
1970, in Book 9390, page 548 of Official Records of Orange County,
California; and
WHEREAS, The Irvine Company is the owner of all lots in
said Tract No. 7083 and proposes to impose said Declaration of
Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions upon said tract for the
benefit of all of the lots therein and for the benefit of the
adjoining land owned by the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said document
and determined that it adequately provides for the permanent
upkeep, maintenance, and payment of taxes on the common area lots
within said tracts, as required by Section 19.32.040 of the
Newport Beach Municipal Code;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Clerk be and are hereby authorized and directed to execute the
said Notice of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions on behalf
of the City of Newport Beach.
ADOPTED this 22nd day of March 1971.
