RESOLUTION NO. 7413
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AMENDING THE BIG CANYON
PLANNED COMMUNITY DISTRICT DEVELOPMENT PLAN
WHEREAS, Section 20.51.070 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code provides that final amendments to a Planned
Community District Development Plan must be approved by a
resolution of the City Council setting forth full particulars
of the amendment; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has conducted a public
hearing on the proposed amendments in accordance with all
provisions of law; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds and determines that
certain amendments to the Big Canyon Planned Community District
Development Plan relating to adjustments in the residential
densities of areas 4 and 5, and minor revisions to the
statistical summaries and development standards as set forth
in the supplemental text are desirable and necessary. The
full particulars of said amendments are set forth in Amendment
No. 1 to the Big Canyon Development Plan and Planned Community
District Regulations prepared by The Irvine Company and dated
February, 1971.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
hereby approves the proposed amendments to the Big Canyon
Planned Community District Development Plan as referred to
hereinabove.
