• A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO.
ACCEPT THE PROPOSAL OF THE LAW FIRM OF STEWART,
• WOODRUFF & FRAZEE TO PROVIDE INTERIM SPECIAL
LEGAL SERVICES
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach a proposal from the law firm of
Stewart, Woodruff & Frazee to provide interim legal services
to the City of Newport Beach during the period of the recruit-
ment for the position of City Attorney, relating to the
prosecution of misdemeanor violations of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, said law firm has offered to provide said
services for a special retainer fee of $800 per month; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it
would be in the best interests of the City to accept said
proposal;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach that the proposal of Stewart,
Woodruff & Frazee to provide the interim special legal services
above described, for the retainer fee of $800 per month, is
approved, effective as of June 1, 1971, and the Mayor is hereby
authorized to accept the same on behalf of the City of Newport
Beach.
ADOPTED this 14th day of June, 1971,
