A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE
• CONSTRUCTION OF BUFFALO HILLS PARK, PHASE II,
CONTRACT No. 1339
10 WHEREAS, pursuant to the notice inviting bids for work
in connection with the construction of Buffalo Hills Park,

Phase II, in accordance with the plans and specifications hereto-
fore adopted, bids were received on the 22nd day of June, 1971,
and publicly opened and declared; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
therefor is INDUSTRIAL TURF, INC.;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the bid of INDUSTRIAL TURF, INC.,
for the work in the amount of $144,541.31 be accepted, and that
the contract for the described work be awarded to said bidder,
subject to the receipt of a Letter of Credit from the
Donald L. Bren Co. in the amount of $145,000.00;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in
accordance with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf
of the City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed
to furnish an executed copy to the successful bidder.
ADOPTED this 28th day of June, 1971.
