RESOLUTION NO. �7 9 7 7
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH APPROVING A NEW RENTAL SCHEDULE
FOR NEWPORT MARINAPARK IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE
EXISTING RENTAL AGREEMENTS AND RESCINDING
RESOLUTION NO. 7670
WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach is the owner of
that certain real property in the City of Newport Beach presently
utilized as a trailer park and known as NEWPORT MARINAPARK; and
WHEREAS, the City Council on the 9th day of June, 1969,
adopted Resolution No. 7002 approving a standard form rental
agreement and regulations for Newport Marinapark and directed
the City Manager to execute said agreement with all tenants of
Newport Marinapark; and
WHEREAS, the rental agreement provided, among other
things, that certain rental rate increases would go into effect
on July 1, 1972; and
WHEREAS, on April 10, 1972, the City Council adopted
Resolution No. 7670 which approved a new rental schedule for
NEWPORT MARINAPARK which was in compliance %rwith the wage and
price guidelines of the Federal government; and
WHEREAS, the rental rates for NEWPORT MARINAPARK are
no longer subject to said guidelines of the Federal government; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to bring the rental
rate schedule for NEWPORT MARINAPARK into conformance with the
rates set forth in the existing rental agreement executed by
the tenants of that trailer park;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the following rental
rate schedule will be in effect from February 1, 1973, to June 30,
1973:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Resolution No. 7670 is
hereby rescinded.
