RESOLUTION NO. 8207
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH AMENDING THE PLANNED
COMMUNITY DISTRICT REGULATIONS FOR THE
HARBOR VIEW HILLS PLANNED COMMUNITY (PLANNING
AMENDMENT 361)
WHEREAS, Section 20.51.070 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code provides that final amendments to a Planned
Community District Development Plan must be approved by a
resolution of the City Council setting forth full particulars
of the amendment; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission conducted a public
hearing on February 7, 1974, at which time it considered certain
amendments to the planned community district regulations for
the Harbor View Hills Planned Community; and
WHEREAS, at said public hearing the Planning Commission
adopted Resolution No. 877 recommending to the City Council
that certain amendments to said Planned Community Development
Standards pertaining to reducing the permitted density in
Areas 8 and 13; a general updating of the statistics as they
pertain to the developed residential area; amending the sign
standards in Areas 8 and 13 and revising the standards as they
pertain to the height and location of fences in Areas 9, 10, 11
and 12 be adopted; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds and determines that
certain amendments to said Planned Community Development
Standards as set forth in Amendment No. 361 are desirable and
necessary;
WHEREAS, the City Council has conducted a public hearing
on the proposed amendments in accordance with all provisions of
law;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that City Council
hereby approves the proposed amendments to the Planned Community

District Regulations for the Harbor View Hills Planned Community
as referred to hereinabove.
ADOPTED this 11th day of March , 1974.
