A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF
AN AMENDMENT TO AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AND CHARLES E. "BUD" PORTER
FOR LEGISLATIVE ADVOCATE SERVICES
0 WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach and Charles E.
"Bud" Porter have entered into an agreement for legislative
advocate services dated August 31, 1972; and
WHEREAS, the City and Bud Porter desire to amend
said agreement to increase Porter's compensation and reimburse-
ment for expenses, and to provide for monthly reporting on
legislative of interest to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the terms
and conditions of said amendment and found them to be fair
and equitable;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach that the above described Amendment
to Agreement is hereby approved and the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized to execute the same on behalf of the
City of Newport Beach.
ADOPTED this 10th day of June, 1974.
