RESOLUTION NO. 8284
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH FIXING THE SALARY
OF THE CITY MANAGER, CITY ATTORNEY AND
CITY CLERK
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach has the power and duty to establish the salary of the
City Manager, City Attorney, and the City Clerk; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 8000 established said salaries
beginning July 7, 1973;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that effective July 6 , 1974,
Resolution No. 8000 be rescinded, and that beginning July 6 ,
1974, the salary of the City Manager shall be $ 38,000
per year; the salary of the City Attorney shall be $ 315500
per year; and the salary of the City Clerk shall be
per year, payable in monthly, semi - monthly, or bi- weekly install-
ments as is most convenient in the ordinary course of the
preparation of the City's payroll.
ADOPTED this 24th day of June, 1974.
