A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION
OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF NEWPORT
BEACH AND THE COUNTY OF ORANGE TEMPORARILY
it EXTENDING THE AGREEMENT FOR THE PROVISION
OF CERTAIN HEALTH SERVICES
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach a certain agreement between the
City of Newport Beach and the County of Orange which would
extend from July 1, 1974 to December 31, 1974 the agreement
dated July 10, 1962 for the provision of certain health services
by the County; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the terms
and conditions of said extension of health services agreement
and found them to be fair and equitable, and in the best
interests of the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach that said agreement for the
temporary extension of the health services above described is
approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
and directed to execute the same on behalf of the City of
Newport Beach.
ADOPTED this 22nd day of July, 1974.
