A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF
A COOPERATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AND THE COUNTY OF ORANGE TO
IMPLEMENT THE HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
ACT OF 1974
WHEREAS, there has been presented tothe City Council
of the City of Newport Beach a certain Cooperation Agreement
between the City of Newport Beach and the County of Orange
in order to implement the Housing and Community Development
Act of 1974; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the terms
and conditions of said Cooperation Agreement and found them to
be fair and equitable, and in the best interests of the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach that said Cooperation Agreement
above - described is approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are
hereby authorized and directed to execute the same on behalf of
the City of Newport Beach.
