A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ESTABLISHING "NO PARKING"
RESTRICTIONS ON BALBOA ISLAND STREETS FROM
8:30 A.M. TO 12:30 P.M. ON CERTAIN DAYS, IN
CONNECTION WITH THE STREET SWEEPING PROGRAM
WHEREAS, Section 12.$5.150 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code provides that the City Council shall by resolu-
tion designate streets or portions of streets on which the
parking or standing of vehicles is to be prohibited, and shall
designate in the resolution the days of the week and the exact
hours during which such prohibition shall be in effect;
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is
reasonable and in the public interest to prohibit parking of
vehicles at certain times and in certain areas of the City in
order to effectively operate the City street sweeping program;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach that parking of vehicles shall be
prohibited between the hours of 8:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M., on the
following days and in the following areas:
MONDAYS
Abalone Ave. - Westerly side
Abalone Dr. - Westerly side
Abalone P1. - Southerly side
Balboa Ave. - Northerly side from Grand Canal to East
Bay Front
Crystal Ave. - Westerly side
Jade Ave. - Westerly side
Marine Ave. - South Bay Front to 80' South of Park Ave.
Park Ave. - Southerly side from Marine Ave. to East Bay
Front
TUESDAYS
Agate Ave. - Westerly side
Balboa Ave. - Southerly side from Grand Canal to Collins
Ave.
Collins Ave. - Westerly side
Diamond Ave. - Westerly side
Emerald Ave. - Westerly side
