RESOLUTION NO. 8414
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF
A JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AND THE NEWPORT -MESA UNIFIED
SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR RESURFACING OF CORONA DEL'
MAR'HIGH SCHOOL TENNIS COURTS
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach a certain joint powers agreement
between the City of Newport Beach and the Newport -Mesa Unified
School District to provide for equal sharing of costs incurred
in resurfacing eight tennis courts located at Corona del Mar
High School; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the terms
and conditions of said joint powers agreement and found them
to be fair and equitable, and in the best interests of the
City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach that said joint powers agreement
above described is approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are
hereby authorized and directed to execute the same on behalf
of the City of Newport Beach.
