A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH REQUIRING VEHICLES TURNING RIGHT
FROM MACARTHUR BOULEVARD TO YIELD TO VEHICLES
SOUTHWESTERLY BOUND ON JAMBOREE ROAD
WHEREAS, Section 12.36.020 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code provides that the City Traffic Engineer shall erect
and maintain yield right -of -way signs on any street or intersection
when such signs are authorized by resolution or ordinance of the
City Council and every driver of a vehicle shall yield the right-
of-way as required; and
WHEREAS, certain intersections should be designated as
intersections where vehicles are required to yield the right -of-
way hereinafter provided;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the vehicles turning right from
MacArthur Boulevard are required to yield to vehicles southwesterly
bound on Jamboree Road, and the City Traffic Engineer is hereby
directed to erect and maintain yield right -of -way signs at the
following location:
On MacArthur Boulevard at Jamboree Road.
