f <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8693 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH ADOPTING CERTAIN <br />AMENDMENTS TO THE PLANNED COMMUNITY <br />• DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR "NEWPORT PLACE" TO <br />PERMIT CHANGES IN THE LAND USE MAP AND <br />TEXT AND TO PERMIT ADDITIONAL USES <br />• <br />WHEREAS, Section 20.51.070 of the Newport Beach <br />Municipal Code provides that final amendments to a Planned <br />Community Development Plan must be approved by a resolution <br />of the City Council setting forth full particulars of the <br />amendment; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission conducted a public <br />hearing on January 15, 1976 at which time it considered certain <br />amendments to the Planned Community Development Plan for <br />"Newport Place "; and <br />WHEREAS, at said public hearing the Planning <br />Commission adopted Resolution No. 941 recommen4 <br />City Council that certain amendments by adding <br />to "Auto Center Site 1A" and "Auto Center Site <br />reclassifying the land use designation of said <br />Commercial Site lA and General Commercial Site <br />be adopted as follows: <br />ling to the <br />additional uses <br />2B" and <br />sites to General <br />2B, respectively, <br />"(a) Page 12, Part II, Statistical Analysis is <br />amended to read as follows: <br />PART II AUTO CENTER <br />AND GENERAL COMMERCIAL (8) <br />PERMITTED USES - PART II, SECTION II, <br />GROUP II.F <br />A.
