RESOLUTION NO. 87
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH ACCEPTING AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT AND GRANT OF EASEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH AND THE
STATE OF CALIFORNIA ACTING BY AND THROUGH
ITS DIRECTOR OF GENERAL SERVICES (DEPARTMENT
OF FISH AND GAME) IN CONNECTION WITH
CONSTRUCTION OF THE JAMBOREE ROAD BIKE TRAIL
WHEREAS, there has been delivered to the City of
Newport Beach a certain Agreement and Grant of Easement wherein
the State of California grants to the City of Newport Beach
an easement over certain real property in connection with the
construction of a bicycle trail along Jamboree Road, adjacent
to the Upper Newport Bay near San Diego Creek; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of
Newport Beach to accept said Agreement and Grant of Easement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach that said Agreement and Grant of
Easement is hereby accepted, the Mayor and City Clerk are
authorized and directed to execute the Agreement, and the City
Clerk is authorized and directed to execute and attach thereto
a certificate of acceptance and consent to its recording and
to cause said document to be recorded in the County of Orange,
Recorder's Office.
ADOPTED this Int-h day of May , 1976.
