RESOLUTION NO. 8765
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH ACCEPTING A GRANT
OF EASEMENT FROM THE IRVINE COMPANY FOR
THE JAMBOREE ROAD BICYCLE TRAIL (SOUTHERLY
OF SAN DIEGO CREEK)
WHEREAS, The Irvine Company has agreed to grant to
the City of Newport Beach, subject to the approval of the
University of California at Irvine, an easement required for
the construction of the Jamboree Road Bicycle Trail on the
westerly side of Jamboree Road between Eastbluff Drive North
and University Drive North, southerly of San Diego Creek;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the terms and
conditions of said easement and finds them to be satisfactory
and that it would be in the best interest of the City to
accept said Grant of Easement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach that said easement is hereby
accepted, and the City Clerk is authorized and directed to
execute and attach thereto a certificate of acceptance and consent
to its recording and to cause said document to be recorded in
the County of Orange, Recorder's Office.
