A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT TO JAMES W.
FORD IN CONNECTION WITH LIDO ISLAND BRIDGE
PEDESTRIAN WALKWAY ADDITION, CONTRACT NO. 1814
WHEREAS, pursuant to the notice inviting bids for
work in connection with the Lido Island Bridge Pedestrian
Walkway addition, in accordance with the plans and specifica-
tions heretofore adopted, bids were received on the 17th day
of June, 1976, and publicly opened and declared; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible
bidder therefore is James W. Ford;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach that the bid of James W. Ford
for the work in the amount of $49,992.40 be accepted, and that
the contract for the described work be awarded to said bidder;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in
accordance with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf
of the City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed
to furnish an executed copy to the successful bidder.
