A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH APPROVING A PARCEL MAP AND
ACCEPTING THE OFFER OF DEDICATION OF A PEDES-
TRIAN WALKWAY EASEMENT IN CONNECTION WITH
RESUBDIVISION NO. 524 (SOUTHWESTERLY CORNER
OF SAN NICOLAS DRIVE AND AVOCADO AVENUE -
NEWPORT CENTER AREA)
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach a Parcel Map for
Resubdivision No. 524; and
WHEREAS, The Irvine Company has offered for
dedication to the City a three -foot wide pedestrian walkway
easement along the southerly side of San Nicolas Drive pursuant
to said Parcel Map; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the Parcel
Map and the offer of dedication, and finds that the approval
of the Parcel Map and the acceptance of the offer of dedication
to be in the best interests of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach that said Parcel Map is approved
and the offer of dedication is hereby accepted, and the City
Clerk is authorized to execute the certificate on said map
consistent herewith and approving the signature omissions per
Section 66436(b)(1) of the Subdivision Map Act.
