A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ESTABLISHING A "NO PARKING"
• AREA ALONG A CERTAIN STRETCH OF OCEAN
BOULEVARD IN CORONA DEL MAR
WHEREAS, Section 12.40.160(d) of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code provides that the City Council can establish
any place as a "no parking" area by resolution; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the
area from the last parking stall west of Heliotrope Avenue on
Ocean Boulevard in Corona del Mar going westerly for 195 feet
on the south side of Ocean Boulevard should be designated as
a "no parking" area in order to preserve the scenic vista for
motorists traveling on Ocean Boulevard;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that pursuant to
Section 12.40.160(d) of the Newport Beach Municipal Code, the
City Council hereby establishes the area as designated herein-
above as a "no parking" area.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Traffic Engineer
shall appropriately sign or mark said area to prohibit the
stopping, standing or parking of vehicles.
