A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT TO URIBE
COMPANY OF BaP.WIA{_PARK IN CONNECTION WITH THE
GOLDENROD AVENUE PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE REPAIRS,
CONTRACT NO. 1783
WHEREAS, pursuant to the notice inviting bids for
work in connection with the Goldenrod Avenue Pedestrian Bridge
repairs, in accordance with the plans and specifications hereto-
fore adopted, bids were received on the 5th day of January,
1977, and publicly opened and declared; and
WHEREAS,.it appears that the lowest responsible
bidder therefore is Uribe Company of Baldwin Park;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach that the bid of Uribe Company of
Baldwin Park for the work in the amount of $20,500.00 be accepted,
and that the contract for the described work be awarded to said
bidder;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in
accordance with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf
of the City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed
to furnish an executed copy to the successful bidder.
ADOPTED this 24th day of January , 1977.
