A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT TO ROGERS
AND DAVIES IN CONNECTION WITH WATER MAIN IN
NORTH BRISTOL STREET (BIRCH STREET TO CAMPUS
DRIVE), CONTRACT NO. 1885
WHEREAS, pursuant to the notice inviting bids for
work in connection with the water main in North Bristol Street
(Birch Street to Campus Drive), in accordance with the plans and
specifications heretofore adopted, bids were received on the
11th day of January, 1977, and publicly opened and declared;
and
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible
bidder therefore is Rogers and Davies;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach that the bid of Rogers and Davies
for the work in the amount of $22,075.00 be accepted, and that
the contract for the described work be awarded to said bidder;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in
accordance with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf
of the City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed
to furnish an executed copy to the successful bidder.
ADOPTED this 24th day of January , 1977.
