A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH DESIGNATING INTERSECTIONS AT
WHICH VEHICLES ARE REQUIRED TO STOP AND DIRECTING
• THE TRAFFIC ENGINEER TO ERECT NECESSARY STOP
SIGNS ( PESCADOR DRIVE AT SANTIAGO DRIVE AND
SOUTHBOUND ON SANTIAGO DRIVE AT PESCADOR DRIVE),
AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 7558
WHEREAS, Section 12.36.010 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code provides that whenever an ordinance or resolu-
tion designates and describes an intersection at which vehicles
are required to stop at one or more entrances thereto, the
City Traffic Engineer shall erect stop signs at those entrances
of such intersection where a stop is required and every driver
of a vehicle shall stop at such intersection; and
WHEREAS, certain intersections should be designated
as intersections where vehicles are required to stop at one
or more entrances thereto as hereinafter provided;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach that the following described
location is hereby designated as an intersection at which
vehicles are required to stop, and the City Traffic Engineer
is hereby directed to erect and maintain stop signs at said
location:
On Pescador Drive at Santiago Drive and
Southbound on Santiago Drive at Pescador Drive.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Resolution No. 7558 is
hereby rescinded.
