RESOLUTION NO. 9063
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT TO T. J.
CROSBY COMPANY IN CONNECTION WITH STREET
IMPROVEMENTS - PACIFIC COAST HIGHWAY - 1000
FEET EASTERLY OF BALBOA BOULEVARD, CONTRACT
NO. 1896
WHEREAS, pursuant to the notice inviting bids for
work in connection with street improvements - Pacific Coast
Highway - 1000 feet easterly of Balboa Boulevard, in accordance
with the plans and specifications heretofore adopted, bids
were received on the 12th day of April, 1977, and publicly opened
and declared; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible
bidder therefore is T. J. CROSBY COMPANY;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach that the bid of T. J. Crosby
Company for the work in the amount of $16,961.00 be accepted,
and that the contract for the described work be awarded to said
bidder;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in
accordance with the specifications, bid and this award on
behalf of the City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk
be directed.to furnish an executed copy to the successful bidder.
