A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH LIMITING THE PARKING OF VEHICLES
ON CERTAIN BUSINESS DISTRICT SIDE STREETS IN THE
Is CORONA DEL MAR AREA (BOTH SIDES OF JASMINE AVENUE
BETWEEN COAST HIGHWAY AND FIRST AVENUE)
WHEREAS, Section 12.44.010 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code provides that when authorized signs are in
place giving notice thereof, no person shall stop, stand, or
park any vehicle between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
of any day for a period of time longer than two (2) hours
upon such streets or portions thereof as the City Council
shall designate by resolution; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to limit the parking of
vehicles as hereinafter provided;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach that the parking of vehicles
between.the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., except on
Sundays and holidays, be limited to two (2) hours on both
sides of Jasmine Avenue between Coast Highway and First Avenue.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Traffic Engineer
is hereby authorized and directed to appropriately sign or mark
said area to indicate such parking limitation.
ADOPTED this 23rd day of May , 1977.
