A RESOLUTIO17 OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE PROGRAM SUPPLEMENT NO.
02 TO LOCAL AGENCY -STATE MASTER AGREEMENT
NO. 07 -5151 BETWEEN THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
AND THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA IN CONNECTION WITH
THE ORANGE COUNTY SAFER OFF - SYSTEM (S.O.S.)
ROAD PROGRAM 1976 -1977 ATTD 1977 -78 (INSTALLATION
OF TRAFFIC SIGNALS ON BIRCH STREET AT QUAIL
STREET)
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach a certain Program Supplement
No. 02 to Local Agency - State Master Agreement No. 07 -5151
between the City of Newport Beach and the State of California
in connection with the Orange County Safer Off - System (S.O.S.)
Road Program for the installation of traffic signals on Birch
Street at Quail Street; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the terms and
conditions of said Program Supplement No. 02 and finds them to
be satisfactory and that it would be in the best interest of
the City to authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute
said Program Supplement No. 02,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach that said Program Supplement
No. 02 above described is approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized and directed to execute the same on
behalf of the City of Newport Beach.
