A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO EXECUTE A RIGHT OF ENTRY DOCUMENT GRANTING
TO THE U. S. ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS A 12 -MONTH
RIGHT OF ENTRY FOR SURVEY AND EXPLORATION PUR-
POSES OVER THE OLD SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT SITE
OWNED BY THE CITY ADJACENT TO THE SANTA ANA
RIVER
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City of
Newport Beach a certain Right of Entry document granting to
the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers a 12 -month right of entry
for survey and exploration purposes over the old sewage treat-
ment plant site owned by the City adjacent to the Santa Ana
River; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the terms and
conditions of said Right of Entry and finds them to be satis-
factory and that it would be in the best interest of the City
to execute said document,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the Right of Entry above described
is approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to execute the same on behalf of the City of Newport
Beach.
