A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ACCEPTING THE DEDICATION OF
A RIGHT -OF -WAY AND CORNER CUTOFF, AND AUTHO-
RIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE
A SUBDIVISION AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AND NEWPORT IRVINE ASSOCIATES
IN CONNECTION WITH THE PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS
REQUIRED WITH RESUBDIVISION NO. 633
WHEREAS, Newport Irvine Associates has made an offer
of dedication of a right -of -way at the northwest corner of the
parcel located at 3300 Irvine Avenue, northeasterly of Orchard
Drive, and the corner cutoff at the intersection of Orchard
Drive and Acacia Street in connection with Resubdivision No. 633;
and
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach a certain Subdivision Agreement
between the City of Newport Beach and Newport Irvine Associates
guaranteeing completion of the improvements required with
Resubdivision No. 633; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the offer of
dedication of said right -of -way and corner cutoff and finds that
the acceptance of the above - described offer to be in the best
interest of the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the terms and
conditions of the above - described Subdivision Agreement and finds
them to be satisfactory and that it would be in the best interest
of the City to authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute said
agreement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that said offer of dedication is
hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said agreement above
described is approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to execute the same on behalf of the
City of Newport Beach.
ADOPTED this 23rd day of October 1979.
