A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AMENDING THE LIST OF POSITIONS
DESIGNATED BY THE CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE AS
THOSE WHICH REQUIRE THE FILING OF AN ANNUAL
INCOME/ASSET DISCLOSURE STATEMENT
WHEREAS, Government Code Section 87300 required
every governmental agency to adopt and promulgate a Conflict
of Interest Code; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of Newport Beach did
adopt such a code by Resolution No. 9005 on February 28, 1977;
and
WHEREAS, personnel actions undertaken by the City
of Newport Beach, subsequent to February 28, 1977, have resulted
in technical change to the titles but not the duties of certain
positions such that the list of positions designated by the
Conflict of Interest Code as those which require the filing of
a disclosure statement (Exhibit "A" of the Code) should be amended
to reflect these technical changes.
WHEREAS, the list of positions appended to this
resolution as Exhibit "A" accurately sets forth the designated
positions as described in Article II of the Conflict of Interest
Code;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of Newport Beach hereby adopts Exhibit "A" as the list of
designated positions which require the filing of a disclosure
statement pursuant to Article II of the Conflict of Interest
Code.
W BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Exhibit "A" be appended
to the Newport Beach Conflict of Interest Code as Exhibit "A"
in lieu and instead of the present list.
