A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AMENDING FISCAL YEAR 1981 -82
COMPENSATION PLAN AND TABLE OF AUTHORIZATION
BY ESTABLISHING AN EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT
POSITION AND ADDING ONE SECRETARIAL POSITION
THERETO
WHEREAS, on June 22, 1981, the City Council of the City
of Newport Beach adopted Resolution No. 10077 which provided,
among other things, the adoption of the 1981 -82 fiscal year
budget; and
WHEREAS, on January 11, 1982, the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach approved the establishment of a new
position for an Executive Assistant who would be responsible for
the City's airport coordination services; and
WHEREAS, in order to assist the Executive Assistant in
this program, the creation of an additional secretarial position
was necessary; and
WHEREAS, the City Council now desires to amend the
Compensation Plan and Table of Authorization for permanent
employee classes as follows:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach hereby approves an amendment to the
• Compensation Plan and Table of Authorization of Permanent
Employees as outlined above.
